Logo Refresh
Multitude Films built its visual brand incrementally since its founding in 2016 and grew to a stage where a comprehensive branding process would help unify visual communication. First, we updated the mark by changing certain elements like the typeface and the illustration style while mostly keeping the layout and overall tone intact. Once the new mark was finalized, we handed it over to Lee Tesche for sound design and animation.
Before
After
The Multitude Films logo includes a dandelion, which relates to their name. The dandelion spreads hundreds (a multitude) of seeds that reach unknown places and create new growth. Multitude wants its films to do the same. The name also comes from “I contain multitudes” and has multiple meanings — including the multitudes, majority-minority, etc.
Website Redesign
A future-forward website designed to position Multitude Films as both a creative studio and an industry force. The system pairs a restrained, editorial foundation—clean grids, generous white space, and clear hierarchy—with dynamic visual moments that echo the brand’s energy and point of view.
Production stills and behind-the-scenes imagery foreground the people and process behind the work. The result is a concise, high-impact experience that communicates leadership in documentary storytelling, commitment to equity, and a pipeline supporting emerging voices—all within an accessible, thoughtfully structured interface.
Social Media Framework
A clear, flexible social framework was designed to help Multitude Films show up with consistency and intent. The system balances editorial storytelling with in-the-moment visibility—pairing strong, minimal layouts with a repeatable content structure. The result is a feed that reinforces their leadership in the documentary space while remaining dynamic, accessible, and easy to maintain.
